Searching for a loyalty member

You can search for a loyalty member using various details.

Searching for a unconfirmed member

To find a member who hasn't confirmed/activated their registration.

1. Click Contacts in the left-hand menu.
   
   
2. Under the search bar, click 'Advanced search'
   
   
   
3. In the first box (on the left), click
   
   
4. From the 'Select group' drop-down list, select 'General details'.
   
   
5. Click the arrow in the lower right corner to go to the second page.
    
6. Click 'Select' to the right of the 'Contact state' field.
   
   
7. You'll be taken back to the Contacts screen. From the right-hand box drop-down list, select 'Unconfirmed loyalty enrolment'.
   
   
8. Click 'Search'
   
   
9. You can add an additional field to help find a specific member, by clicking '+' to the right of your search filter. Be aware that when a member is 'unconfirmed', not all their data has been uploaded to the contact record/Horizon. This is uploaded when they activate their account. The only data that is searchable is their name and email. 

Searching for a member by name

To find a specific member in Horizon using their first and/or last name:

1. Click the Contacts tab.
   
   
2. In the search bar, type the member’s name and click 'Search'
   
   
3. A list of matching contact records (members) will be displayed. 
   
   

Searching for a member by email address

To find a specific member by their email address:

1. Click the Contacts tab.
   
   
2. Under the search bar, click Advanced search
3.

5. In the first box (on the left), click
   
   
6. From the 'Select group' drop-down list, select 'Channels'.
   
   
7. Click 'Select' to the right of the 'Email' field.
   
   
8. You'll be taken back to the Contacts screen. Enter the email in the right-hand box. Alternatively, you can change the middle box 'Is' to another search filter. For example, you may want to use 'contains' to find all member's with a hotmail.com email address.
   
   
9. Click 'Search'

Searching for a member by card number

To find a specific member in the Horizon database by their card number:

1. Click the Contacts tab.
   
   
2. Under the search bar, click 'Advanced search'

5. In the first box (on the left), click
   
   
6. From the 'Select group' drop-down list, select 'Loyalty & Rewards'.
   
   
7. Click 'Select' to the right of the 'Card number' field.
   
   
8. You'll be taken back to the Contacts screen. Enter the card number in the right-hand box. Alternatively, you can change the middle box 'Is' to another search filter. For example, you may want to use 'Starts with' to find all member's who has a card number starting with 1234.
   
   
9. Click 'Search'

Searching for a member using other details

There are many other search options available. 

To see what's possible, use the advanced search, then click  as you have done above. You can look through the 'Select group' drop-down menu, or if you want to find something in particular, take a look at the information below. 

Additional member's details, such as a customer verification ID used in your loyalty profile, will most likely be found under a custom field. If you are unsure where to find this, please get in touch.
