You may wish to automatically expire members points, which is particularly useful for members who become inactive in your loyalty program.
To setup points expiry:
- Go to Loyalty Management in the left-hand menu
- Select 'Point expiry rules'
- If you haven't already enabled points expiry, you'll see an 'Enable' button within the 'Points expiry rules' section. If this is the case, you'll need to get in touch with us to enable this
- Once points expiry is enabled, you'll see the various points expiry settings. First, choose many days until the points expire
- Next,, choose your 'Points expiry method'. Bear in mind that if you already have points expiry set up, you will likely find that you can't change the points expiry method. The same applies if you wish to turn off points expiry. In that case, please get in touch with us.
- Enter a 'Loyalty transaction activity description". This is what will able in the members loyalty transaction history (in their contact record and their loyalty program transaction history if it's viewable via the program)
- Finally click 'Save'
