You can search for a contact using various details.
Searching for a member by name
To find a specific contact in Horizon using their first and/or last name:
- Click Contacts in the left-hand navigation.
- In the search bar, type the contact's name and click
- A list of matching contact records will be displayed. The
action buttons on the right will allow you to view, edit, delete or preview the contact.
Searching for a contact by email address
To find a specific contact by their email address:
- Click the Contacts tab.
- Under the search bar, click the advanced search button

In the first box (on the left), click
- From the 'select group' drop-down list, select Channels.
- Click 'Select' to the right of the 'Email' field.
- You'll be taken back to the Contacts screen. Enter the email in the right-hand box. Alternatively, you can change the middle box 'Is' to another search filter. For example, you may want to use 'contains' to find all contact's with a hotmail.com email address.
- Click 'Search'
Searching for a member using other details
There are many other search options available.
To see what's possible, use the advanced search, then click as you have done above. You can look through the 'select group' drop-down menu, or if you want to find something in particular, take a look at the information below.
Additional contact's details, such as survey data, will most likely be found under a custom field. If you are unsure where to find this, please get in touch.

Loyalty Transactions |
The type, date and count of loyalty transactions (e.g. purchases) that the member has transacted. |

Wallet |
Details of all offers or rewards that have been redeemed. |

Wishlist |
Details of all offers, rewards or custom behaviours that the member has added to their Wishlist. Wishlist rewards that are achievable or in progress. |

Home site |
The member’s home site (number, name and address), to which they have a geographic affinity based on observed transaction behaviour. |

The date, ID, type, description and solution of any audit cases, plus created and last updated date. |

The member’s communication details (email, SMS, etc). |

Marketing campaigns that members have been included in, Campaign type, plus the date/time of their most recent campaign engagement. |

The contact’s 'created' and 'last updated' date in Horizon. |

Link category |
Whether a contact has clicked a link in an email, which has been tagged as a link category. |

Custom fields |
Any custom fields, you have set up, will show at the bottom of the 'select group' list. |
