Currency to point conversions allow you to control how many loyalty points you wish to award your loyalty members with when they make a purchase. Currency to point conversion is accessed by clicking the Loyalty Management tab, then selecting Currency to point conversion from the left-hand menu.
Alternatively, you can reward points based on quantity instead of currency. To do so, go to Settings > Account settings > Loyalty & Rewards.
Default currency to point conversion
The default currency to point conversion is 1 unit of Currency (e.g. GBP, EUR, USD etc) to 1 point. Meaning for every £1 spent, for example, the member will receive 1 point.
It is possible to edit the default currency to point conversion and change the amount of points awarded for every 1 unit of currency spent.
To do this, click edit beside the desired currency and save any new settings.
Setting up different currency to point conversions
It is possible to add different currency to point conversion, which can be active across different time periods. For example, the below screenshot shows loyalty members being awarded 2 points for every unit of currency spent during the month of June.
Please note that it is the date of the purchase that will determine which currency to point conversion is applied.
