This guide will walk you through activating your account and logging in for the first time.
How to activate and login to your Horizon account
- 1. You should have received an email from Horizon with the subject line "Activate your Horizon account" (If you didn't receive this email, please contact your Horizon Administrator).
- Open the email and click the 'Activate' button.

- A new window will open and you'll be asked to set your password. Set a password and press the 'Activate' button.

- You will be logged in and directed to the Horizon homepage.
How to resend an activation email
If for any reason the user didn't receive the activation email, a Horizon administrator can resend the activation email.
- To do so, in Horizon click 'Settings' in the top right corner
- Find the user account
- Click
to the right of the user account
- Scroll down to the 'Reset username and password' section, above the users Roles
- Click 'Send user activation message'
- Click 'Save' at the bottom of the user page
How to manually activate a user account
If for any reason you want to manually activate a user account, you can do this manually. This will allow the user to login without activating their account, using the password you set when you created the user account.
- To do so, in Horizon click 'Settings' in the top right corner
- Find the user account
- Click
to the right of the user account
- Scroll down to the 'Reset username and password' section, above the users Roles
- Click 'Activate user'
- Click 'Save' at the bottom of the user page
