Importing contacts with Amazon AWS S3

It's possible to import contacts via Amazon AWS S3. If you'd like to do this, please get in touch.

Activating S3 imports

1. In Horizon, select Settings' in the left-hand navigation
   
   
2. Select Account settings from the left-hand menu
   
   
3. In the 'General' section, click  to the right of 'Enable S3 automatic import'
4. Tick the tick box and click 'Update'

Configuring Horizon for S3

1. Go to the Contacts tab
   
   
2. Select 'Import summary' from the left-hand menu
   
   
3. Scroll to the bottom of the page and in the 'S3 Automatic Import Configuration' section, click 'New Folder'
   
   
4. Give your S3 folder a name and take note of this
   
   
5. Select the import order. This is important if you have multiple S3 folders you wish to order in priority order.
   
   
6. Select your import settings. This is a template of what fields are expected in your file. This is created when importing a contact file via Horizon and you get the option to save the settings. For more information, see Importing contacts from a CSV or Excel file
   
   
7. Click 'Save'
   
   
8. Get in touch with us and let us know what S3 folder name you set up and we can set up the rest of the configuration ready for your imports
