The Send Message Wizard is a simple, step-by-step tool that lets users quickly send messages to pre-defined groups of contacts.

Configuring the Send Message Wizard
To enable the Send Message Wizard for a user:
- Assign an appropriate Horizon licence to the user. You will likely see a licence with 'Send message' in the licence. If you don't see the licence, or you are not sure which licence to use, speak to your HTK account manager.
- Create one or more Horizon groups
- For each group, edit your group and go to the 'Wizard access section
- Tick 'Enable'
- Select from the 'Type' dropdown whether your group is a "Interest group" or an "Area"
- Click
- Create a Group Access Role, and specify the Interest groups and Area groups that this Role is permitted to send to.
- Assign a Group Access Role to the user.
