Send a single Tweet from numerous Twitter accounts instantaneously. Horizon lets you authorise multiple Twitter accounts to a Horizon account and to choose accounts a Horizon User has access to.
To setup Twitter in Horizon:
Posting a Tweet
You can send a Tweet from Horizon in two ways:
Send Tweet Widget - Can be found on the Home screen when first logging into Horizon.
Event Stream - Navigate to | Campaigns | then Event Stream in the Social section. This can also be used to view existing Tweets.
In both instances you will have the option to provide the following:
- Tweet - A 140 character message that you wish to share with your followers.
- Add Photo - Optionally attach a photo from Horizon’s File store in addition to your Tweet. You will also see a preview of the image.
- Location - Optionally publish where you're sending your Tweet from. To share your location select the location icon so it turns green (this is not supported in Internet Explorer 8).
- Accounts - Based on the number of accounts available to you, select the ones you wish the Tweet to come from; it is possible to select multiple accounts.
Viewing a Tweet
A list of Tweets for all available accounts can be viewed from the Event Stream. Just like Twitter, you can see the most recent posts, reply to a Tweet and see if a Tweet you’ve posted has been Retweeted or Favorited. The Event Stream is refreshed every 15 minutes within your account.
The Inbound/Outbound filter allows you to view all Tweets that you have made and those that have Tweeted you. For Inbound messages sent from Horizon, the Horizon Username will also be displayed.
The Account Filter allows you to view posts for a specified Twitter Account feed or all Twitter Accounts that you have access to.
